Nordic Track Championship 2022

We wish all nordic riders a warm welcome to Vår Energi Arena Sola for the first Nordic Championship on Norwegian soil.

Traditionally the Nordic Championships in track cycling have been for Elite and Junior cyclists. For this event we also want to open up for U17 (15-16 yrs) and Master cyclists to participate. As everything is happening over one weekend, we need to have some flexibility and want to set som expectations to the masters community.

A traditional Masters championship is separate event on its own to have all the different competitions for each of the 5-year classes. Also, the number of registered master cyclist for the event will not be finalized before a few days prior to the event start date.

Due to limited time and to be able to have competitive and interesting races for the cyclists, the organizers have decided on the following principles;

• For the individual starts there will be normal racing for masters
• For bunch races master classes can be placed together with other groups/classes to avoid very small bunches. This will be depending on how many participants that signs up for each class.
• The competition results and awards will be based on 5-year classes

The chief commissaire together with the Race Director will set the final program shortly after deadline for registration. The information will be shared on this website as soon as ready.
